We are looking for a Director, Data & Analytics, to join our growing team in our Brentwood, MO office. The Director, Data & Analytics, will be responsible for building and leading the Data Analytics team.

A DAY IN THE LIFE


  • Continue the evolution of data science capabilities, allowing business teams to leverage data from multiple structured and unstructured sources to support the understanding and analysis of critical business questions.
  • Maintain technical leadership, direction and oversight to build reliable and scalable data pipelines, data models and data visualizations.
  • Develop and lead a team of internal and external Architects, Engineers, and Analysts; Work with business leaders to understand their business needs, connect relevant data/analytics opportunities and deliver data products/processes to support those needs.
  • Collaborate with Business & IT teams to establish and communicate a clear Analytics and Data Strategy.
  • Develop and lead important strategic programs such as Job, Subcontractor & Customer analytics, Spend & Procurement Analytics, Financial Analytics.
  • Provide guidance focused on the development and evolution of our data engineering and analytics capabilities including data governance, data quality and data integration.
  • Collaborate with multiple teams to design, develop, test, implement and support solutions in data engineering and analytics.
  • Build business domain data modeling capabilities and create a cloud based Big Data environment that can harness financial, operational and machine data.


NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS


  • Experience taking concepts and ideas and devloping them into practical and actionable solutions; experience driving change within an organiztion.
  • Must have experience with modern data visualization tools; Qlik, Power BI, Tableau etc., Big Data environments; Azure Synapse, Snowflake etc., Cloud Data warehouses, ETL tools and practical experience creating such environments and delivering on business ROI.
  • Demonstrated competency in developing building blocks for Self-service reporting and driving a data-driven culture.
  • Experience in project management planning, organizing, coordinating, and managing staff, clients and/or partners.
  • Experience with enterprise data models.
  • Bachelor’s degree in information management, data science/analytics or similar fields and 10-15 years of overall experience working with data and information management tools.
  • Ability to present complex information concisely through written & verbal communication; experience hosting interviews, brainstorms/workshops with business teams and executives on data-related topics/projects.
  • 7-10 years' leading data and analytics teams required.
  • Proven track record of managing customer-centric data driven solutions across a complex portfolio of stakeholders and fostering the development of high-performance teams.
