Data Analyst/Big Data Associate Educator

Swelar is a leading online training institute that provides digital knowledge and skills. We're currently looking for a Data Science professional to teach during our 12-week online bootcamp in Data Analytics/BigData, with AWS. As a Swelar instructor, you'll get to teach, performresearch, and do hands-on training for all projects.

Job Duties:

Teach our 12-week course on Data Analytics/BigData on AWS

Provide hands-on training, guide students on troubleshooting, and aid in their project development with cutting- edge technologies

Lead class activities, discussions, demonstrations, and mentor future talent

Contribute to creating Swelar’s curriculum for Data Analytics/BigData

Write and research new content to keep teaching skills up-to-date

Use Swelar’s Agile methodology to continuously enhance students' learning experiences

Collaborate with other Swelar's Educators to create the digital platform and tools for teaching

Qualifications:

3-5 years as a Data Scientist or Analytics professional with a relevant Bachelor’s degree OR 8 years of work experience in this field

Strong skills in SQL, R, python, and visualization tools

Experience in numerical and categorical modelling techniques and various machine learning methods

Familiar with version control systems, Big Data and Cloud platforms like Git, Hadoop, Spark, AWS, GCP

Experience in designing and applying data science experiments using various tools and methods

Experience in leading technical teams

Teaching experience, comfortable speaking to large groups, and enjoy mentoring

Strong work ethic, integrity, and the drive to excel

Empathetic and enthusiastic with a passion for teaching and creating positive learning experiences
