Data Analyst - Remote | Wfh

We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Research Analyst to join our dynamic team. As a Research Analyst, you will play a vital role in the development and maintenance of analytic datasets, incorporating data from various sources such as prospective cohort studies, clinical trials, and qualitative research. Your expertise will contribute to the execution of nationally federally funded and non-sponsored research, focusing on qualitative and mixed-methods studies.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with the team to write detailed documentation/specifications for analysis data sets and related files.
Administer and analyze survey data, ensuring accuracy and integrity of the results.
Conduct qualitative data analysis, including coding of interview and focus group transcripts, to extract meaningful insights.
Play an active role in moderating focus groups and conducting interviews, providing a valuable perspective in data collection.
Identify qualitative research priorities and design comprehensive research plans that align with the scope of the research program needs.
Utilize analytical software such as NVivo, Dedoose, Max QDA, etc., to perform in-depth analysis for qualitative research and document the findings.
Contribute to qualitative coding training courses for research staff, empowering them with essential skills and knowledge.
Conduct literature searches using PubMed and other literature databases to stay updated with the latest research trends.
Collaborate with Directors/Principal Investigators to fulfill any additional duties required to support research study development.
Minimum Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
Previous experience with qualitative research methods and analytical software, preferably NVivo.
A Master's Degree in a relevant field and at least 1 year of experience conducting qualitative research.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to conduct interviews and moderate focus groups effectively.
Experience in developing and executing research protocols, ensuring adherence to established guidelines.
Proficiency in academic writing for publication and grant application purposes.
Ability to critically analyze research studies and present findings to scientific audiences, including transplant professionals.
Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and writing skills.
Self-motivated and capable of working independently while meeting project deadlines.
Strong time management skills and the ability to excel in a remote work environment.
Knowledge of organ transplant databases and organizations (e.g., the National Kidney Registry).
Familiarity with basic concepts related to the operation of the national transplant system.
