Job Description

Title: Data Analyst

Responsible for: Enrollment & Reporting

$65 – 75k, fully remote

Reports to: Director of Servicing

Solomon Community Solar seeks a full-time Data Analyst to work remotely within our collaborative team.

Our executive offices in Norwalk, CT, in the famed fintech and energy trading corridor of Fairfield County, one hour by train from New York City. Join us remotely, hybrid or working fulltime in our office, in historic South Norwalk, 50 feet off trendy Washington Street.

Key Responsibilities:

· Process Enrollment data for multiple clients through daily data imports process, running of queries and macros and generation of daily summary reports.

· Ensure enrollment data is up to date and accurate for all clients.

· Establish relationships with various utility companies to submit enrollment records for account validation and usage statistics.

· Ability to identify issues that exist in the data and proactively correct data anomalies.

· Generate lists of records that require follow-up, in order to obtain missing or invalid data provided by customers. Collaborate with Fulfillment and Call Center teams to initiate outreach to customers and ensure databases are updated with corrected data received.

· Programming and creation of reports designed to meet the specifications of each client. Generate, summarize and disseminate reports that summarize key performance indicators in support of clients.

· Identify trends in data and communicate to leadership team in a timely manner. Collaborate with Marketing, Web, Fulfillment and Servicing teams to point out both positive and negative trends in data so business decisions can be made quickly and with agility.

· Respond to ad-hoc requests from the business as needed, for in depth analysis of enrollment data or to answer data related questions from stakeholder.

· Collaborate with Analytics and Marketing team to provide them with data required to make informed business decisions regarding campaign effectiveness.

· Utilize quantitative and qualitative thinking to manage and report campaign successes and opportunities

· Comfortable working in a team environment supporting multiple stakeholders

Minimum Education & Experience:

  • Minimum 2 year of experience in a Data Management Platform (DMP)
  • Python experience is a big plus
  • Minimum 2 year experience in SQL
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Access.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
  • Bachelor’s degree required in a business or technical field
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, task-focused, team environment involving technical and non-technical individuals is essential
  • PowerBI, Tableau and Hubspot experience preferred
  • Strong initiative and self-starting approach, and ability to operate effectively in an organizational climate of frequent change
