Position Summary:
Under the supervision of the Program Manager, the Data Analyst Entry Level will be responsible for maintaining, tracking and connect data to program implementation strategies. Responsibilities include leading the management of databases, and keeping up to date with construction-related trends; coordinating internal data on program implementation and impact, and preparing and sharing regular internal reviews of program.
Essential Duties and Responsibilitiesinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Develop data collection mechanisms, including surveys, focus groups, and other instruments to effectively track the implementation and impact of strategies and practices for each grant activity/program.
- Assist Team to develop and implement program application process to ensure that data collected align with grant reporting requirements and internal data needs.
- Develop assessments, in collaboration with Program Managers, to measure participant knowledge, skill, and employability.
- Inform Programs leadership on performance measures by program to ensure attainability and compliance of grant goals.
- In concert with Senior Grant Coordinator, ensure accurate program performance reporting for monthly, quarterly, and annual grant reports.
- Oversee Premier Electric Company database as well as grantor database, to ensure quality data tracking by program, individual participant, and activity.
- Conduct strategic analysis and develop data visualizations based on analysis and interpretation of data using Excel, GIS or other data tracking systems.
- Support program development initiatives and funding applications by contributing research and relevant statistics.
- Additional duties and projects as assigned.
- Create and publish reports to be disseminated and presented to key stakeholders, potential funders, and community members on program and participant outcomes.

Qualifications:

Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Public Policy, Business, or related field. Master's Degree preferred.
Other Required Qualificationsinclude the following:
- 1+ years of experience manipulating large data sets with analytical software.
- 1+ years of experience working with data visualization/analytical software (Tableau, SPSS, etc.). Knowledge of GIS a plus.
- 1+ years of professional experience with increasing levels of responsibility; successful track record requiring experience in data analysis, relationship management, and consultative skills.
- 1+ years of experience working in workforce development, business capacity, education or youth services.
