Aristotle Capital Management is currently seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst with a passion for adopting next generation security concepts and apparatuses. The Security Analyst will assist the Cyber Security department in providing Security Analysis, Incident Response, Risk Management, Vulnerability Management, and more. As a Security Analyst, you will be a key contributor to our Cyber Security team which is responsible for the overall security posture of the firm. This is an opportunity to work in combating real security issues and to collaborate with our internal technology teams in responding to and mitigating any threat to Aristotle assets.
What You Will Do:
- Coordinate and execute internal and external penetration testing, vulnerability scans, and ethical hacking exercises.
- Conduct and facilitate security and threat modeling reviews throughout the development lifecycle.
- Research and identify vulnerabilities and threats to networks and information systems, recommending countermeasures or mitigating controls to reduce identified risk.
- Maintain an up-to-date understanding of security threats, countermeasures, security tools, Cloud Security and SaaS technologies.
- Utilize cybersecurity defense practices in preventing unauthorized access, intrusions, and applying countermeasures to identified risks.
- Secure private and public cloud environments, including Azure and AWS.
- Evaluate, implement, and utilize SEIM SOAR EDR solutions.
- Automate security tools and processes to ensure advancement of strategies that keep pace with industry best practices in areas of access control and security-in-depth.
- Collaborate with other departmental efforts in continually improving and enforcing compliance with the Information Security Management System.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of policies, processes, and procedures.
- Work in tandem with development teams to help build and refine security tooling.
What You Will Need:
- Ability to collaborate with a team and execute responsibilities independently.
- Ability to learn from and work with peers to grow and expand cybersecurity knowledge and expertise.
- Familiarity with the working concepts, application of principals, and compliance requirements of the ISO-27001 series of standards.
- Membership or participation is desired in any of the following: ICMCP (International Consortium of Minority Cyber Professionals), ISC2 (International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium), ISACA (Information Systems Audit and Control Association), CSIA (Cyber, Space, & Intelligence Association), ACFCS (Association of Certified Financial Crime Specialists), AISP (Association of Information Security Professionals), BCA (Black Cybersecurity Association), RMA (Risk Management Association), CSA (Cloud Security Alliance).
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree from accredited college or university with a strong academic background or equivalent work experience.
- Detail oriented with a high degree of accuracy and timely follow through.
- 1-2+ years of cybersecurity experience.
- Certifications are desired in any of the following: Security+ (CompTIA), Network+ (CompTIA), Microsoft Security Compliance and Identity Fundamentals (SC-900), Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900), AWS Cloud Practitioner, AWS Security Specialty, etc.

Compensation Range: $85,000.00 - $115,000.00, plus discretionary bonus.
This is a hybrid role; preference is to be located within commuting distance of our Los Angeles office.
