Supervises and evaluates activities of assigned sales force (Government, Private Institutions & Private/Group Physicians) to assure compliance with assigned sales and physician-calls objectives. Ongoing monitoring of sales and physician-call reports with the sales force to maximize group productivity. Assures the implementation of the Sales/Marketing plan of action for the assigned products as well as the adequate coverage of targeted physicians. Maintains adequate controls of the assigned sales force expense reports. Develops self and direct reports to prepare for future roles to support business needs. This position must understands and adheres to all applicable laws, regulations and BMS policies, including but not limited to the BMS Standards of Business Conduct & Ethics, USP Compliance & Ethics Code of Conduct, the US Healthcare Law Compliance Field Handbook, PhRMA Code, OIG Compliance Guidance, PDMA and Adverse Event Reporting. Proactively identifies, evaluates and appropriately shares industry and company developments which may relate to US healthcare law compliance.
