Customer Specialist Jobs

The Customer Specialist is essential to the success of Shmoop’s Customers. Customer Specialists will work with the Customer Success team to execute on core needs of our customer base. As a CS, you will organize customer profiles, run marketing efforts, gather feedback, and support all stages of the customer journey to ensure the renewal of our clients. You will work to improve customer outcomes, position the product effectively based on customer needs and goals, and coordinate efforts with the CSM team.

A successful CS is metrics driven and in constant analysis of our practices and processes. The customer organization leans on the CS team to ensure we are hitting key metrics to drive the retention and expansion of our customer base.We are seeking a service-centric individual that is passionate about education and ensuring the best for our students, teachers, and educational leaders.

Qualifications

• Willing to invest in ongoing learning in education market and industry
• Exceptional communication/relational skills with strong verbal and written proficiency
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Entrepreneurial spirit; looking for someone willing to work hard and be innovative along the way.
• Proficiency in Google Suite and CRM applications, experience with Hubspot is preferred
• Bachelors degree in Education, Sales, Marketing, Account Management or relevant field, and 3+ years of relevant experience
