Since 1977, Arctic Air Conditioning, Heating, Cooling and Plumbing located in Old Bridge, NJ has been focused on giving our customers the best value. We understand that calling for plumbing or HVAC service is often not anticipated, so we make sure to give our customers as little stress as possible.

Our customer service team is a pillar of the entire organization’s effort to increase our customer’s satisfaction. We are looking for an outgoing and well-spoken Customer Service Representative to take inbound and make outbound calls to assist customers with scheduling service and maintenance calls in the CRM and promote the brand’s services through having a general understanding of plumbing, HVAC, & electrical services job types. We require those that have heavy phone call experience and the ability to multitask. This job requires being on the phone and data entry. 40 hrs a week including weekends and evenings.

Pay Range: $21.00 to $25.00 per hour DOE

Schedule:

• Must be able to work 40 hrs a week 5 day work week
• On-Call Shift Rotation
• 2 Saturdays and 2 Sundays per month (8AM to 4PM)

Skills you bring for Success:

• You’re an upbeat, self-motivated person who loves helping people get the support they need
• Strong listening and sales skills
• Previous experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical services, or the construction industry is a plus
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong attention to detail with problem-solving capabilities
• Ability to achieve the target goal
• Most importantly, you must truly understand what it means to be a professional - to be reliable, take ownership over your role and responsibilities, and be someone the team can count on
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient at typing & comfortable with computers
• Exceptional customer service and phone skills

Job Duties:

• Follow scripting to provide consistent experience for clients
• Cross-promote various trade services to customers
• Answer customer questions and provide basic services information
• Participate in administrative tasks, communication, and coordination with internal departments
• Empathize & understand customer’s urgent plumbing, HVAC, and electrical problems
• Book the customer’s appointment in CRM
• Sell and renew memberships
• Be prepared to complete other duties that are delegated on an as needed basis.
• Answer inbound customer calls in a fast-paced environment
• Make outbound calls to schedule service calls
• Communicate with customers via chat or email
• Complete any responsibilities assigned by manager
