As a Barclays Customer Service Representative – Collections, you will be the company’s primary interface with existing and potential customers, this includes receiving inbound and outbound calls and solving and/or educating customers on specific account information, concerns, and inquiries to make it as easy and as possible to do business with and resolve their delinquency. Significant effort is placed on the importance of ensuring an exceptional experience when we interact with our customers.
Salary / Rate Minimum: $46,800.00
Salary / Rate Maximum: $50,000.00

We are currently in the early stages of implementing a hybrid working environment, which means that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. Depending on your team, typically this means that colleagues spend a minimum of between 20% to 60% of their time in the office, which could be over a week, a month or a quarter. What will you be doing?
- Adhering to compliance regulations and security policies
- Taking ownership of any follow-up work necessary to service customer and ensuring that nothing slips through the cracks
- Speaking and writing knowledgably about products and services
- Using computer software application to properly service customers’ accounts
- Quickly analyzing and providing a resolution for customer needs
- Receiving inbound and outbound phone calls from customers and service their needs effectively and efficiently
- Offering payments programs and solving customer problems
- Listening actively and establishing rapports
What we’re looking for:
- Over one year in Banking or credit card experience
- Six months’ minimum experience in a Call center environment
- One year of experience in collections and/or customer service with an excellent performance and attendance record
Skills that will help you in the role:
- Banking or credit card experiences a plus
- One year’s experience in collections and/or customer service with an excellent performance and attendance record
- Six months’ minimum experience in a Call center environment
