Customer Service Assistant, Medical Billing

Holds primary responsibility for providing a variety of administrative and clerical support to the customer service department. The office representative completes data entry work queues, processes return mail, maintains account reconciliations, manages supplies and takes meeting minutes for all department meetings. Also performs duties that include, but are not limited to, outgoing mail preparation and incoming mail distribution.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Strong interpersonal and excellent communication skills.
• Typing skill level of 45 cwpm preferred.
• One year of customer service experience.
• The ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities and achieve successful outcomes in a team environment are necessary.
• Candidate must be organized, self-motivating, versatile and able to work independently.
• Position requires exposure to, and protection of, confidential and sensitive information.
• The ability to work well with all levels of corporate management and the general public.
