We are looking for an experienced and self-motivated individual to fill the position of Customer Relations Supervisor with our corporate office located in Dallas, TX.


Description


As a member of the Supply Chain Team, the Customer Relations Supervisor plays a critical role in providing incremental value to our business through customer service excellence. This position is accountable for maintaining service levels, mentoring and coaching staff, and overseeing the order-to-cash process. In collaboration with the Sales, Marketing, Logistics, Technical Service, and Demand Chain Planners, the Customer Relations Supervisor is responsible for managing customer relationships, demonstrating customer advocacy and supporting all aspects of the order fulfillment process for a set of assigned customer accounts while supervising a small team of direct reports. The ideal candidate must be energetic, influential, outgoing, self-motivated, and professional.


Essential Job Duties


  • Implement, manage and support OxyChem service offering programs , such as VMI (vendor managed inventory), eCommerce, EDI (electronic data interchange).
  • Champion customer needs within OxyChem Supply Chain organization by communicating customer expectations, forecasted product demand, delivery disruptions and customer satisfaction data.
  • Responsible for an exceptional level of customer service for assigned customer accounts.
  • Drive process improvements and participate on cross-functional projects and goals.
  • Administer OxyChem business policies relating to sales orders, including lead-time requirements, order control programs, and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance.
  • Collaborate with OxyChem Sales Team, Marketing, and Supply Chain functions to promote customer focus and exceed customer expectations.
  • Demonstrate critical thinking skills and perseverance to overcome obstacles and resolve challenges.
  • Hire, supervise, and mentor a highly qualified customer relations team, driving employee development and performance management.
  • Oversee and support Customer Relations Representatives in all aspects of executing the order-to-cash process.
  • Possess a strong working knowledge of motor, rail, marine, and pipeline transportation and distribution processes and systems.


Qualifications


  • BS or BA, preferably in Business, Supply Chain, or applicable field of study.
  • Minimum 5 years relevant work experience in inside account management and/or customer service in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications.

  • Detail-oriented, analytical, organized with strong customer focus and an aptitude for problem solving and multi-tasking.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal, influencing, and collaboration skills.
  • Professional communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Enterprise Resources Planning software (SAP/ERP) and Customer Relationship Management (MSDynamics) system preferred.
  • Knowledge of order processing, billing, manufacturing, transportation, and logistics processes preferred.
  • Able to work well in a team environment.
