Custodial Foreperson (Onsite) Jobs

Supervise custodial services delivery within a residential complex. Responsible for setting employee goals, assessing performance, providing feedback, and making pay recommendations. This position will regularly interact with Housing management, custodial and maintenance staff personnel, and residential occupants. This position typically will advise and counsel: NA. This position will supervise custodial staff.

Job Duty 1 -

Plan, schedule, and assign custodial services within the area.

Job Duty 2 -

Oversee daily cleaning.

Job Duty 3 -

Conduct inspections of facilities to ensure effective delivery of cleaning and maintenance services.

Job Duty 4 -

Select and train custodial staff. Provide job-related coaching, counseling, and development. Administer disciplinary actions.

Job Duty 5 -

Process work orders; prepare and maintain work-related reports and records.

Job Duty 6 -

Monitor proper use of equipment and supplies, conduct periodic inventories, and participate in selecting and purchasing equipment and supplies.

Job Duty 7 -

Provide input to budget development, funding priorities, and purchasing decisions.

Job Duty 8 -

Perform other duties as assigned

Educational Requirements

High School Diploma, GED Certificate, or Vocational School Diploma

Required Experience

Four to five years of job-related experience

Other Required Qualifications

Lead the discovery process on large engagements and accurately scope projects, defining project requirements and successful outcomes. Serve as the main client interface on projects. Lead the production and distribution of Institutional communications and other original content. Create the communication strategy and donor messaging for Institute fundraising initiatives. Identify new promotional vehicles, and oversee planning and monitoring of project and team budgets.

Starting Hourly Range: $26.26/hr

Job Grade: C9

SKILLS

This job requires a working knowledge of custodial processes and procedures as well as skills in work planning, supervision, and related administrative processing and customer service. The use of basic office-related computer applications is required.
