Job Description
Job Responsibilities


The Curriculum Designer will guide curriculum development and review of for-credit and special programs; as well as provide consulting and training for faculty developing curriculum.


Duties And Responsibilities


  • Develops assessment measures
  • Provides training and consultation for faculty
  • Works with a variety of program areas; e.g. Technical Education, Health Sciences
  • Identifies program competencies, outcomes, and objectives
  • Performs job task analysis (DACUM method)
  • Assists with curriculum review and revision
  • Coordinates curriculum development projects


Minimum And Additional Requirements


Master of Education degree in Instructional Systems Design, Curriculum & Instruction, or related area required with 5 years of demonstrated experience in education. Strong communication (written/oral) and interpersonal skills are required.


Preferred Qualifications


Preferred candidates should have demonstrated experience in conducting job task analysis and performing DACUMs with evidence in curriculum system design. Experience with adult learners and within higher education settings is preferred.
