Job Summary –

The Culinary Assistant is responsible for providing quality service to create an exceptional dining experience for Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Mississippi employees. The responsibilities include food preparation, setting up serving areas and serving employees, and cleaning the Blues Café area, utensils, and equipment in accordance with State and Local Laws. The Culinary Assistant functions as a team player and provides prompt, courteous service that exemplifies the Company’s commitment to Health & Wellness and Service Excellence.

Job-Specific Requirements:

• Maintain strict confidentiality.
• High School diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• Organized and able to handle a variety of duties.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.
• Previous experience in food service industry required.
• Must be able to follow instruction.
