Description:

The licensed therapist is responsible to provide evidence-based counseling services to individuals, couples, families as well as providing school-based counseling, working with Corporate Wellness Clients and leading seminars. Services are provided in-home, in-office, school-based and using our web based telehealth platform. All team members are expected to be an active and positive member of the Crosswinds team while growing personally and professionally and helping and encouraging others to grow as well.

Requirements:

• Be willing to provide supervision to staff who are unlicensed
• Maintain strict confidentiality to protect client’s privacy
• Provide counseling services in the client’s home, in our agency office, school-based or web-based using our telehealth platform
• Facilitate competent counseling services from a faith-based perspective
• Meet with Supervised Therapist Team and Director of Operations on a regular basis for support and training
• Provide counseling services to individuals, couples, and families of various ages with various presenting problems
• Attend required staff meetings, clinical workshops and team retreats
• Present psychoeducational seminars/workshops to staff and/or groups in the community (e.g., anxiety, suicide prevention, parenting, marriage)
• Review and sign off on supervisees’ documentation in a timely manner
• Demonstrate respect for client’s sociocultural values, personal goals, and lifestyle choices, and deliver services in a culturally competent fashion
• Value multiculturalism and diversity and integrate it into client conceptualization and treatment
• Utilize evidence-based treatments in counseling
• Completion of accurate, timely documentation of 1) all contacts with clients, 2) integrative summaries and treatment plans, and 3) reports for clients (as needed)

Qualifications:

• Have an understanding of integrating the Christian faith in counseling clients
• Previous supervisory experience preferred
• Belief in the family preservation philosophy
• Hold a clinical license in the state of Indiana (LMHC, LMFT, LCSW, HSPP)
