Responsibilities

• DCF Model Utilize discounted cash flow (DCF) models to evaluate investment opportunities and assess their present value. Conduct sensitivity analysis to evaluate potential risks and returns associated with different scenarios.
• Lending Deals Assess creditworthiness of borrowers and analyze lending opportunities. Conduct detailed analysis of loan applications, review financial statements, and evaluate collateral to determine risk and profitability. Prepare credit proposals and present recommendations to the credit committee.
• P&L Analysis Analyze and interpret profit and loss (P&L) statements to evaluate the financial performance of companies and investments. Identify trends, assess profitability, and provide recommendations to improve financial performance.
• Financial Modeling Develop and maintain complex financial models to assess the viability and profitability of potential investments. This includes analyzing financial statements, conducting sensitivity analysis, and forecasting future performance.
• Acquisitions Evaluate potential acquisition targets by conducting thorough due diligence, assessing financial risks, and identifying growth opportunities. Prepare investment memos and present findings to senior management for investment decisions.
• Rent Roll Analysis Analyze and evaluate the financial performance of real estate properties by reviewing rent rolls, lease agreements, and conducting market research. Identify trends, assess risks, and provide recommendations to optimize rental income and maximize property value.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with lending deals and credit risk assessment.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the finance industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (CFA, CPA) are a plus.
• Solid understanding of profit and loss (P&L) analysis and financial statement interpretation.
• Strong proficiency in financial modeling techniques and tools.
• Proficiency in rent roll analysis and real estate valuation.
• Expertise in discounted cash flow (DCF) modeling techniques.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex financial concepts to stakeholders.
• Extensive knowledge and experience in acquisitions and due diligence processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound investment decisions.
