Credit Analyst - Alternative Investments

Our client is seeking a Credit Analyst to join their team supporting Asset Management functions, this role will have oversight and manage day to day activities of a loan portfolio of an alternative investment advisory firm – they focus on private credit and special opportunity investments

Your Role:

• Review and interpret credit documents
• Analyze collateral data / work with large data sets
• Build, modify and run borrowing base models
• Calculate financial ratios and other covenant requirements
• Perform portfolio monitoring / reporting
• Assist with the team’s strategic initiatives
• Work closely with the Asset Management Team and Investment Team
• Liaise with the Client borrowers

Qualifications:

• Detail oriented to assure accuracy in every transaction performed
• Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
• 5+ years relevant experience in commercial banking or financial services with a focus on
• Proficient Word, and PowerPoint skills
• Lending
• Strong Excel and financial modeling skills
• Self-starter who demonstrates ownership and drive with a commitment to deadlines
• Bachelor’s Degree in finance or relevant business field
