Counselor Jobs

This is an Independent Contractor position for a clinican committed to working with relationships in distress.
Responsibilities:
• Provide systemic counseling to clients dealing with relationship and marital issues
• Help clients improve communication, resolve conflicts, cope with stress and increase intimacy in their relationships
• Educate clients on strategies to build trust, enhance bonding, and foster emotional wellbeing within their relationships
• Maintain clinical records and document sessions and progress according to legal, ethical, the CSWMFT Board of Ohio guidelines
Please note:
If licensure requires supervised clinical hours, the candidate will be responsible for securing and documenting their own supervision from an appropriately licensed mental health professional. Clinical supervision will not be provided as a part of the contract.
Qualifications:
• Master's degree in counseling, social work, or related field
• License as a MFT, IMFT, LPC, LPC, or LISW in the state of Ohio
• Knowledge of various therapeutic approaches for couples and families such as EFT, Gottman, etc.
• Strong communication, active listening and problem solving skills
• Ability to maintain appropriate boundaries and handle sensitive issues with care and confidentiality
• High level of emotional intelligence and empathy
