This posting#60057293is for a Correctional Food Service Officer III Position at Pasquotank Correctional Institution #3740. Employee will provide supervision and custody of inmates in their assigned food preparation and food service work areas for a large male facility. Oversee Inmate workers engaged in a variety of activities in food production including cooking, baking and serving food to the inmate population. Work includes but is not limited to, communicating verbally and in writing; input and comprehend computer data, secure and maintain equipment, read comprehend and calculate menus; observe sanitary food handling practices; understand food nutritional values; inventory and rotate stock; complete CPR; Firearms, Unarmed Self-Defense training and work a varied schedule. Necessary Special Qualifications Must be eligible for certification by the North Carolina Criminal Justice Education & Training Standards Commission.
