Corporate Social Responsibility Program Manager

The Opportunity:

Are you a corporate social responsibility professional ready to help drive social impact for a 30,000+ employee company? As a Manager on the Community Impact and Philanthropy Team, you will be part of a small and dynamic team that provides social impact strategy and execution aligned with our social impact pillars, including empowering diverse tech talent, innovation accessibility, and climate and technology community resilience. You will work with internal and external organizations to drive the firm’s reputation and social impact through charitable giving, employee engagement, and strategic partnerships aligned with the firm’s business and corporate strategies. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a positive difference in local communities by working across a network of key geographies to develop local impact strategies and implementation plans aligned with our social impact pillars. You will establish trusted partnerships across the firm, working closely with senior leaders to understand their market and geographic needs. You will also work with them to develop and implement strategies that align with both our community impact pillars and business goals, help them build the right partnerships, and demonstrate social or business impact.

We invite you to think entrepreneurially and create a big-picture strategy while working tactically across stakeholder groups including CSR professionals, volunteers, the communications team, government relations, and key stakeholders throughout the Firm and the Foundation to deliver integrated programs. You will build relationships and create structures to empower stakeholders to communicate more effectively within geographies and with one another. For your assigned regions and partnerships, you will employee social responsibility, program management, and strategic communications techniques to assist others with volunteer recruitment, grant management, employee engagement, event promotion, logistical support, and relationship-building. For certain partnership events, you will be the project manager responsible for on-the-ground logistics, event management, and volunteer engagement. In addition, you will also manage the logistics and storytelling for Booz Allen’s pro bono portfolio, collaborating with the business sectors on project selection and tracking, staff and budget resourcing, contract negotiations, and amplification of the portfolio of projects. Together with your Community Impact colleagues, you will be able to develop a unique, cohesive social impact story. You will be a key contributor to the team’s larger social impact measurement implementation and communications strategy. You will work in alignment with marketing strategies at the local and sector levels to encourage awareness for programs and amplify progress and key events. Additionally, you will use the local metrics and success stories from your partnerships to build the Foundation Annual Report with marketing and communications support. You Have:

  • Experience with preparing presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Experience with program management, metrics tracking, and reporting
  • Ability to work closely with senior leaders and deliver leadership briefings
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years of experience with corporate social responsibility and corporate philanthropy at a large corporation
  • Ability to be flexible, manage complex and fast-changing program elements and concurrent initiatives, and prioritize effectively in response
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • Experience as a partnerships program manager with ownership of the strategy, including identifying targets and goals and program management from project inception to close-out
  • Experience managing the full life-cycle of a philanthropic partnership including communications, employee engagement and partnership management and impact measurement
  • Experience with collaborating with corporate communications to engage internal and external audiences and contribute to a company’s corporate affairs goals

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $65,300.00 to $149,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
