Patrols and secures hospital property, employees, patients and visitors. Consults with and keeps supervisor informed of activities, needs and problems in assigned areas.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalency. Bachelor’s Degree preferred

A minimum of one year experience as a security officer in an institutional setting or in a law enforcement setting

New York State Security Guard certification. Currently licensed motor vehicle operator in NY State.

Compensation

The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $22.18 - $22.44 Hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
