Corporate Procurement Manager Jobs

A large, stable, investment management firm in NYC is looking for a Vendor Management Specialist. The firm has over $200B in AUM, and has been in business over 100 years. The ideal candidate would have experience working with software and hardware vendors, market data providers and trading systems companies. Two things that could help a candidate stand out are additional experience with non-IT services such as corporate travel, and having business analysis skills for research purposes. A degree of expertise in generating RFP’s and responses to them should also be had as well. The team is small, and poised for growth as the firms needs in this area are expanding. Candidates with a wide range of experience will be considered. More detailed qualifications are provided below.

The qualities you should have:

• Undergraduate degree required
• Previous business analysis or project management experience in supporting the following vendor solutions:
• Market Data Inventory systems (e.g., TRG FITS, MDSL, Screen, Infomatch)
• Experience using Microsoft Excel to analyze large amounts of data, with the ability to create graphical displays for executive dashboards
• 3+ years of relevant work experience in financial services
• SAAS Management Systems (e.g., Zylo, Productiv, Torri, Flexera)
• Excellent client service and proven ability to work with both end-users and executive staff; proven success working in cross functional teams
• Self-starting, entrepreneurial and resourceful – someone who “makes it happen” with a can-do attitude
• Vendor Risk Management Systems (e.g., IHS Markit KY3P, CyberGRX, Onetrust)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; with an ability to draft effective, succinct emails and crisp presentations
• Excellent time management, organizational, and interpersonal skills; resourceful and highly-dependable
• Able to establish priorities and make decisions on scope of work; keen attention to detail concerning processes, documentation, and analysis
