Job Description

About the Company Hiring: Our client is a leader in the food industry.


About the Job: As the Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Provide quarterly market updates to the Management team including cost savings projects, market conditions, supply chain challenges and opportunities
  • Evaluate and recommend new/additional vendors based on the needs of the business or changing market conditions
  • Review vendor contracts, terms, and delivery arrangements
  • Managing all aspects of the procurement process
  • Negotiates price and selects/recommends suppliers
  • Work on improving internal processes, focusing on strategy
  • Communicate with suppliers to understand their capacity and lead times
  • Oversee a team of buyers (3-4 associates)


Minimum Requirements:

  • 5 years of experience in a manufacturing supply chain/procurement role
  • Experience with raw materials purchasing
  • Strong procurement background
  • Ability to lead a team of buyers


Salary: $80,000 base salary plus bonus incentives
