Procurement Manager Jobs

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage the RFP process while considering factors such as total cost of ownership (TCO) to the Company, quality of product/service, commercial risk, suppliers and subcontractors, and any added value to the Company

• Coordinate and lead key milestone events such as site visits, pre-bid conference calls, clarification meetings, and sealed bid openings

• Develop comprehensive bid analyses (i.e. leveling) and use such analyses to lead negotiations with vendors

• Draft contract documentation based on the results of the RFP

• Review scopes of work, plans, and specifications for accuracy and suggest value engineering cost reduction opportunities for approval by the business unit stakeholders

• Establish quality relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders in order to manage an effective procurement process

• Provide procurement support for residential, commercial, and design development departments as needed

• Assist with special projects and other duties assigned by the Director of Procurement or Ownership

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s Degree required
• Minimum of 5 years qualifying Procurement experience managing RFPs
• Knowledge of costs related to building management services and/or construction required
• Must have analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail, superior verbal and written communications skills, organizational and interpersonal skills
• Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or other related fields preferred
• Working knowledge of general Purchasing and Accounting systems is a plus
• Must have excellent computer skills in MS Office: Excel and Word

Salary - $115,000 - $140,000 range.

Bonus - 5-10% discretionary bonus.
