About the Role:

This position will report into the Employee Experience Manager and support the planning and execution of team offsites and other internal company events. This position will manage end to end execution and planning of events along with managing internal and external relationships. This individual must be passionate about people, self motivated and an enthusiastic partner in the events space. The ideal candidate is a positive team player, who can multitask and is willing to roll up their sleeves and do what it takes to get the job done.


You Will:

  • Additional admin responsibilities include but not limited to weekly mail pickups in the Marina in San Francisco. Estimated time per week is between 5 -7 hours and being close to San Francisco is a must. This task will include the sorting, scanning and shredding of documents.
  • Evaluate potential locations, providers, vendors, and other professionals frequently to determine viability for future events and build a personal knowledge base to better serve stakeholders.
  • Negotiate contracts with venue personnel, caterers, hospitality staff, A/V providers, and other vendors to acquire necessary services and activities for events while meeting budgetary objectives.
  • Monitor and oversee events from preparation and set-up through teardown to ensure adherence to planned format, compliance with regulations, cooperation between vendors, resolution of issues, and overall satisfaction of participants and sponsors.
  • Ability to travel domestically: 30%
  • Perform post-event tasks promptly such as meeting with clients to ensure satisfaction, reviewing invoices and bills, approving payments, and documenting issues and resolutions.
  • Plan and organize internal events according to customer requirements, including researching and hiring vendors, booking venues, planning transportation, inviting participants, planning activities, banquet management, packing event materials and creating name badges and signage.
  • Meet with leaders and executives as necessary to discuss and plan event specifications such as scope, format, budget, administrative details, and special requirements.
  • Communicate directly with stakeholders throughout the event planning process to provide updates, align on event goals, coordinate guest list and vendor specifications, and ensure all parties understand relevant information and details.


You Have:

  • Experience working with all levels of management, including Chief Officers
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent working experience
  • Detail-oriented and reliable with good time-management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to handle conflict calmly and professionally
  • Onsite event experience is a must
  • Experience supporting multiple events of varying sizes at any one time
  • 5+ years of experience in hospitality, corporate events, events management, or event agency experience
  • Experience managing a high volume of projects, events and vendors

Outlined below is a reasonable estimate of H&H’s compensation range for this role.


H&H also offers a comprehensive Total Rewards package that includes equity grants of restricted stock (RSU’s) so that H&H employees own a piece of our company.


The actual amount will take into account a range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and location.

An estimate of the current salary range for US-based employees is

$75,000 — $110,000 USD
