Job Title: Copy Writer

Location: Remote – 1yr contract

Schedule: M-F

Pay: $50/hr-$60/hr DOE

The Copy Writer candidate will assist primarily with copyediting, proofreading, and strategizing digital content and social media campaigns. Other responsibilities can include content review of traditional media including brochures, flyers, fight cards, etc. along with case studies, testimonials, video animations, and MS365 SharePoint pages.

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate exceptional copywriting/copyediting skills with attention to grammar, spelling, and punctuation, and adhere to standard editorial, regulatory, legal, and brand guidelines
• Contribute to the development of our social media program through knowledge in strategizing social media communications, working with and analyzing data and metrics from analytical tools, tracking KPIs, and measuring the success of our social media campaigns and adjusting strategies based on the data
• Assist with light project management projects as needed
• Review content as needed for all other departmental projects
• Contribute insight and expertise to the content review and development process for key web projects

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in English, journalism, or a related major
• 4–6+ years of previous copywriting, editing, and proofreading experience or related work in working with clinical diagnostics, life sciences, or related projects is required
• Excellent copywriting, editing, and proofreading skills with knowledge of Chicago Style, APA, and other editorial style guides
• Familiar with editing per legal, regulatory, and brand guidelines
