This Freelance Proofreader is responsible for proofreading, some copy editing along with fact-checking content for the Production & Marketing Communication teams. You must have 3+ years of experience along with a Bachelor's Degree.

Job Duties:

-You will be responsible for overseeing and providing Quality Assurance to ensure accuracy of different marketing materials and marketing communication pieces

-Experience proofreading marketing communication materials at a high volume

-Ensures that materials are consistent with corporate and compliance standards; collaborates with compliance/legal especially as it relates to footnote language

-You must maintain a proofing style guide for the Institutional materials

-Collaborates with the creative team, on projects outside of the QA process based on additional business knowledge, as needed

-Collaborates with the creative team to review and improve existing content, coordinate requests for and update statistics and compliance footnote language using internal tools and software

-Responsible for working on materials related to the American Funds as well as Customer investment strategies

-Responsible for the proofreading of materials that include a significant amount of statistical information
