Copy Editor - 5 to 20 hours/week ($21-$31/hour)

The hiring company is looking for a Copy Editor who will work closely with the company's CEO. You will be responsible for high-impact writing, editing, and copying as required.

Responsibilities

• Writes headlines, subheads, and body copy
• Write a copy that is clear and creative and displays good sentence structure
• Collaborates with a supervisor and/or art director to formulate creative strategies, generate concepts, and may assume the role of creative lead for proposed projects as needed.
• References and fact-checks copy (grammatically correct and has no spelling errors)

Qualifications

• Great attention to detail and ability for a high level of accuracy
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Experience in editing magazines or books, or someone who has publishing experience is preferred.
• At least 2 years of editing related work experience
