At Open Sky we recognize the importance of person-centered mental health services. The Bridge Counseling Center serves individuals in the community as well as individuals who are served through other Open Sky programs in an outpatient capacity. We offer evidence-based practices, that include medication management and cognitive-behavioral treatments to support individuals with various clinical presentations. This includes Psychotic and Affective Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Trauma Disorders, Borderline Personality Disorder, Substance use disorders and others.


The Licensed Clinician demonstrates an understanding of the concepts of institutional and structural racism and bias and their impact on underserved and underrepresented communities. They are also committed to providing persons served with compassionate clinical treatment in accordance with the scope of practice and regulations governing Community Mental Health and Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics. Licensed clinicians will assess progress against the care plan goals, make recommendations for modifications as needed and work continuously to identify and resolve barriers for individuals served.


Other Key Responsibilities


  • Establish, collaborate, and maintain relationships with applicable Coordination Entities, Emergency Service Providers, outpatient clinics, and other providers/entities to share information and ensure that the needs of the person are fully met.
  • Knowledge of, and experience with outpatient and community-based 3rd party billing activities.
  • Provide crisis intervention assistance to people served through direct intervention or warm handoffs and referrals as appropriate.
  • Participate in On-Call rotation and critical incident review process
  • Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts (LICSW, LCSW, LMHC, LADAC I) or License Eligible, required. Salary will match level of licensure obtained.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of Safety Plans and Crisis Prevention and Response Plans.
  • Managed Care Organizations and prior work experience in a social services or healthcare setting as a direct service provider.
  • Master's Degree in Social Services field, required
  • Build relationships with Persons and develop shared understanding of Persons’ goals and the steps necessary to achieve goals.
  • Experience with and willingness to learn evidence-based practice models for treatment of mental health disorder highly preferred.
