Direct Support Professional $20 Hour Summer Schedule Overnights & Weekends Needed

League School of Greater Boston is an award-winning, year-round program dedicated to the education of children on the Autism Spectrum. Our team approach to education creates a collaborative, supportive and open environment within our community. We are currently seeking DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONALS for our residential program in Walpole to work the summer months of June August with the option to continue into the school year. Base rate is $20 per hour.
OVERNIGHT shifts (11:00 p.m. 9:00 a.m.), Saturdays and Sundays, all shifts, weekday afternoons, evenings.Position Requirements: Must have HS diploma; or be in an undergraduate course of study, preferably special education, education, psychology, human services or social work. Safety Care, CPR and First Aid certifications (training will be provided if you do not have these currently).Prior experience caring for children in a residential setting required; autism experience preferred.Valid drivers license.Must pass rigorous background checks, including nationwide fingerprint screening. Supervision Received: Residence Manager, Assistant Residence ManagerDuties and Responsibilities include the following: 1)Assist students in all areas including life skills, community trips, personal health care, social and recreational activities.
