Compensation $125K-150K plus bonus structure

What Will I Do?
  • Evaluate the finance division structure and team plan for continual improvement of the efficiency and effectiveness of the group as well as provide individuals with professional and personal growth with emphasis on opportunities (where possible) of individuals.
  • Provide analysis of financial trends, variances to benchmarks and key process indicators; partner with leadership to understand analysis and make recommendations.
  • Develop credibility for the finance group by providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial reports and financial trends to assist the Berkeys President.
  • Build and implement strategies to maximize cash flows.
  • Be an advisor from the financial perspective on any contracts into which the corporation may enter.
  • Prepare and publish accurate, timely monthly financial statements and year-end closing
  • Enhance and/or develop, implement and enforce financial policies and procedures of the organization by way of systems that will improve the overall operation and effectiveness of the corporation.
  • Participate in the development of the company’s plans and programs as a strategic partner.
  • Provide technical financial advice and knowledge to others
  • Plan, develop, prepare, organize, implement, direct and evaluate the organization's fiscal function and performance.
  • Evaluate and advise on the impact of long range planning, introduction of new programs/strategies and regulatory action.
  • Develop a reliable cash flow projection process and reporting mechanism that includes minimum cash threshold to meet operating needs.
  • Continual improvement of the budgeting process through education of department managers on financial issues impacting department budgets.


Do I have What it Takes?


  • Knowledge of financial and budgetary planning control.
  • Master's Degree in Accounting or Business Administration
  • Minimum of 10 years of Management Experience
  • Ability to systematically analyze complex issues and data
  • Ability to effectively present information in on and one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization.
  • Established leadership role within Finance with a minimum of ten years experience, preferably reporting to a President or CEO.
  • Minimum of 10+ years of progressively responsible experience for a major company or division of a large corporation
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Certified Public Accountant Required
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and leadership in strategic planning and cost-effective growth management strategies
