Job Summary

Manufacturer in the Cleveland, OH area is seeking an Electrical Systems Engineer to add to their team. The ideal candidate will have a B.S. in Electrical or Controls Engineering and at least 4 years of experience designing and implementing industrial control systems. PLC programming experience required, as well as direct work experience with schematics and panel layouts. Some travel required, about 20%. Will provide relocation for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Conduct simulation, testing and documentation
• Conduct schematic & layout design for electrical & electronic Control Systems including VFDs/DC Drives using AUTOCAD Electrical and Mechanical, Knowledge of EPLAN will be plus.
• Utilize hardware including PLCs, HMIs, PCs, embedded PCs, Client/Servers, Drives/VFDs, sensors, actuators etc. along with viable software to design and develop industrial control systems for a variety of applications and industries
• Travel about 20% for the commissioning of systems
• Interface with salesforce and customers

Requirements

• At least 4 years of Industrial Control System design
• Knowledge of C#, VB, SQL a plus as well as knowledge of NEC standards
• B.S. in Electrical or Controls Engineering
• Minimum 3 years of experience working with schematics and panel layouts
• AutoCAD Electrical and Mechanical experience
• At least 4 years of experience with programming PLCs, HMIs and related equipment for industrial control systems
