Electrical Engineering and Process Control Manager

At least 4 years of experience with programming PLCs, HMIs and related equipment for industrial control systems

Minimum 3 years of experience working with schematics and panel layouts

Knowledge of C#, VB, SQL a plus as well as knowledge of NEC standards

AutoCAD Electrical and Mechanical experience

Minimum 5 years of experience

Conduct simulation, testing and documentation

Prepare and manage requirements specification, design, integration, verification, qualification, industrialization, field trials and launch

Experienced in project management best practices

Strong design organization skills to manage an extremely fast-paced environment

Identify, manage, and mitigate Electrical system risks and document

Bachelor’s or Masters’ Degree in Electrical, Automation, Robotics, Mechatronics or Systems Engineering, with 5+ years’ experience

Experienced in Electrical systems design including IEEE standards

Knowledge of the main aspects of electronics: power electronics, thermal management, battery management, analogue and digital electronics and sensing technology.

Degree (or equivalent) in (Electrical/Electronics/Control Engineering) plus relevant, hands-on experience in requirement specification and analysis.

Good knowledge of control and/or estimation theory and experience in control systems development.

Assist verification and validation team with validation planning, physical testing and certification if necessary.

Good knowledge of system modelling through first principle differential equations, transfer functions, state-space. Multi-physics and FEA modelling is a plus.

Experience in machine learning algorithm development.

Must be a role model and recognized as a leader with excellent organizational and time management skills

Experience managing resources related to manpower, assets, and capabilities while juggling multiple priorities and following policies & procedures

Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and with all regulatory & environmental requirements

DCS / PLC Experience – Honeywell experience highly desirable

Strong computer skills with a proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) required

Excellent communication skills both oral and written

Project Manager / Engineer Controls Engineer / PLC Programmer

• Strong organizational, interpersonal and written communication skills.

• Programming and testing PLC's, drives, software and end devices.

• Install, commission and integrate our systems on customer’s vessels

• Provide training to customers on troubleshooting, maintenance and operation

Defining technical requirements and specifications of vehicle systems and components

Solid electrical fundamentals and electrical engineering knowledge

Experience with design and fabrication in production environments

Hands on experience for hardware development and troubleshooting

Experience with automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet, etc)

Experience with harness design process (CAD routing, schematic & formboard creation, improving manufacturability & install, etc)

Experience of working on capital projects: project management, engineering, installation and commissioning

5 years of Electrical Engineering or Automation systems experience in process control systems and controls theory / fundamentals.

5 years of experience in application of process control and automation in industrial processes.

Experience specifying and/or programming / applying PLC’s, HMI’s, SCADA systems and drives;

10 years’ experience in aluminum or steel industry, or similar with experience of working on rolling processes in an engineering position

Optimization of process equipment for improving quality and capacity, and deployment and enhancement of process control systems;
