The purpose of this position is to lead, manage and coordinate the Lean Six Sigma program (LSS) for the North American Supply Chain. The Senior Continuous Improvement Leader (Six Sigma Master Black Belt) will work with site leadership to develop Black Belt and Continuous Improvement Capabilities, strategies and coordination across teams and the development or application of company best practices and standards.


In This Role, You Will


  • Coordinate with Global Supply Chain organization in deploying lean improvement orientation, on-the-job training, and safety training needs for teammates and ensure that the responsibilities are defined and understood, and oversee the projects.
  • Have ownership of the management system and escalation process for the Lean Six Sigma Program (LSS) / Continuous Improvement (CI) network
  • Direct and facilitate the ongoing lean improvement process through the use of techniques such as Kaizen, 5’S, TPM, Kanban, Policy Deployment, etc. across KCNA.
  • Have ownership of maintaining and assessing the project funnel that is linked to the business delivery needs
  • Develop and maintain value stream mapping efforts, CI plans, and calendars for the entirety of the KCNA Supply Chain
  • Provide mentorship and networking opportunities for cross team development and knowledge transfer and learning

To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:


  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to organize and plan use of time and people effectively and efficiently.
  • Six Sigma or Lean Six Sigma Blackbelt certifications or equivalent Lean certifications
  • Strong change management skills to include the practical implementation of Lean Manufacturing Principles and Concepts
  • Advanced Degree preferred
  • Strong leadership, problem solving and analytical skills
  • Proven track record of leading Continuous Improvement Initiatives through Lean / Six Sigma Methodologies
  • 12+ years of experience working in lean manufacturing, continuous improvement or equivalent field
  • Problem analysis and problem resolution at both a strategic and functional level.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Ability to engage a cross-functional team towards a desired outcome
  • Six Sigma or Lean Six Sigma Master Blackbelt certifications preferred, or equivalent Lean certification preferred
