Disclaimer: This position is expected to start around August/September and continue through December/January. Internships are in-person for 40 hours a week for a minimum of 12 weeks. Please consider before submitting an application.
International Students: If your work authorization is through CPT, please consult your school before applying. You must be able to work 40 hours per week. Many students will be limited to part-time depending on their academic standing.

About The Team
We are looking for a talented and passionate intern to join our growing digital team based in Fremont, CA. The successful candidate will support optimizing, publishing, and maintaining high-quality energy content across our global websites, ensuring that visitors to our site have a seamless and positive user experience.
What You’ll Do

• Learn about our customers and our products and take the initiative to identify and propose new content.
• Participate in the full web production lifecycle, including scoping out content requirements, production, testing and ongoing management/refinement.
• Incorporate learnings from analytics data into the development of content.
• Optimize meta tags and on page content based on priority keyword focus.
• Support localization of global web content and quality of translations.
• Proactively manage content within the content management system and take ownership for quality and accuracy.
• Ensure online content supports SEO goals, our brand standards, web style guidelines and legal and compliance requirements.
• Work collaboratively with software engineers, product managers, business stakeholders, UX designers and other teams to produce and publish compelling content.
• Create analytics reports for internal stakeholders.

What You’ll Bring

• Eye for detail, even under pressure.
• Knowledge of basic HTML.
• Understanding of SEO principles and content optimization.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and go above and beyond to meet deadlines.
• Experience in similar content management/digital production role, ideally for a global website.
• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field of study.
• Experience working with a content management system.
• Superior proofreading and copy-editing skills.

Expected Compensation
$20.19 - $28.61 + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
