Participate in the full web production lifecycle, including scoping out content requirements, production, testing and ongoing management/refinement.

Experience in similar content management/digital production role, ideally for a global website.

Experience working with a content management system.

Proactively manage content within the content management system and take ownership for quality and accuracy.

Work collaboratively with software engineers, product managers, business stakeholders, UX designers and other teams to produce and publish compelling content.

Ensure online content supports SEO goals, our brand standards, web style guidelines and legal and compliance requirements.

Write copy for customer-facing communications based on a brief or outline of requirements

Support the design content and copywriting team globally on emails, web, social and in-app messages

Highly organized with experience using Google Sheets and Basecamp (or similar project management software)

Upload series to our content management system and perform file-checking

This is a 6-month paid internship that begins in the Summer of 2023

Review webcomic series to ensure they comply with our content guidelines and add appropriate keyword tags

Edit and organize documents, including updating guides, proofreading changes, and creating presentation slides

Write short-form content, such as briefs and blurbs

Supports the video asset management process by helping identify selects and creating string-outs/sizzle reels for creative review.

Strong interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities and organization.

Works with editors, content creators, producers and the associate creative director to create compelling video content for Universal Destinations and Experiences.

Prior internship experience related to position is preferred.

1 – 3 years professional experience working in a high-volume post-production environment preferred.

Has prior content creation experience.

Strong writing and storytelling skills.

Our program runs between June 12 - August 18, 2023.

Edit content drafts to Oxford English Dictionary standards in addition to Magic brand style, voice, and formatting.

Use internal and external tools alongside CMS to build website content for internal review.

Create compelling content about Magic: The Gathering that can only come from Wizards of the Coast.

Collaborate with the team to brainstorm/propose ideas for future content.

Basic analytic skills (familiarity with Excel, quantitative-related coursework or work experience)

Must be a team-player with great collaboration skills

Strong, detail-oriented writing and grammar skills (writing sample must be submitted)

Strong verbal and written communication skills
