Next Step Talent is a full-service talent management company assisting clients within the realms of acting, music, and social media. We are looking for Talent Management Interns, Graphic Design Interns, Artist Development & Touring Interns, and Marketing interns to join our team and help support our growing list of clients. We are looking for individuals who are eager to learn & have a passion for Gen Z and the digital space.

Location: Hollywood, Los Angeles, CA - Hybrid (in-person twice a week)

Start/End Date: September 5th, 2023 - December 16th, 2023

Days: Monday - Friday

Compensation: Unpaid, for college credit(s)

Talent Manager

Responsibilities

• Communicate with our team and help with various daily tasks
• Work on music campaign strategies
• Assist with projects focused on talent management (performance, culture, engagement)
• Work closely with our team and clients on content creation, marketing strategies, data analysis, trend reporting, etc.

Graphic Design

Responsibilities

• Assist in branding projects from conception to creation
• Collaborate with our team in the production of digital, visual creative materials for social media and websites
• Design social media ads and web banners
• Knowledge of Adobe Programs and Canva is a must
• Build and design proposals and decks for our clients

Artist Development & Touring

Responsibilities

• Venue research and familiarizing yourself with cap sizes, talent buyers, etc.
• Researching companies and software that allow for audience growth
• Brand partnership research
• Tracking listener and audience engagement for tour mapping
• Trend research and implementing growth ideas for talents according to their niche

Marketing

Responsibilities

• Brainstorm ideas for company growth and implement ideas for execution
• Plan and execute marketing campaigns for talent
• Measure and report results of marketing initiatives to the full team
• Assist in creating decks for pitching

Requirements for all intern positions

Requirements:

• Proficient computer skills including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Experience with all social media platforms
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Displays a high level of confidentiality
• Must be able to earn college-credit for internship
• Detail oriented and dedicated to accuracy and quality
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to be resourceful and work independently
• Experience using tools to generate compelling reports and data visualizations
• Must be located in Los Angeles throughout the full semester/term of internship
