Role Purpose

The Content & Deliver Trainer is a highly self-motivated and well-organized individual responsible for building and implementing our Digital Adoption Platform.

The ideal candidate is a key contributor to our growing company’s vision of training our employees effectively through a solid digital adoption platform capable of designating learning paths, tracking task completion, providing reporting to management and such.

The goal is to enhance employees’ skills, performance, productivity, and quality of work.


Essential Responsibilities and Tasks:

  • Evaluate the impact of each learning experience in order to drive continuous improvement.
  • Build and manage our Digital Adoption Platform (DAP) for our e-learning needs.
  • Ensure all content is in line with our MARS Veterinary brand.
  • Develop test and evaluation procedures.
  • Must produce high-quality work while meeting tight deadlines.
  • Other job duties as assigned.
  • Live and exemplify the Five Principles of Mars, Inc. within self and team.
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to provide content for e-learning and work with the international training team to turn that into successful training modules.
  • Maintain a keen understanding of training trends, developments, and best practices.
  • Clearly define by project the percentage mix of the content via each medium for maximum impact and scale.
  • Assist in developing, organizing, and updating training manuals, multimedia visual aids, and other educational materials.
  • Must have direct knowledge and experience in building an LMS or DAP platform as well as library of training and content from the ground up.
  • Monitor and evaluate our training program’s effectiveness by reporting success and retention.
  • Ensure all content is aligned with our MARS Veterinary Health and Voyager Health branding.
  • Analyze training needs to develop new training programs and improve existing programs.
  • Design and develop learning experiences that support MARS company goals and initiatives.


Special Working Conditions:

  • Ability to work at a computer for long periods of time.
  • Environment where pets are present.
  • Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm-hand-finger dexterity with the ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard and operate necessary equipment.
  • The noise level in the work environment is normally moderate.
  • Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form and to solve problems involving several variables.
  • Must have mental processes for reasoning, remembering, mathematics and language ability (reading, writing, and speaking the English language) to perform the duties proficiently.
  • Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb as well as manipulate (lift, carry, move) up to 50 pounds.
  • Project timelines and work volume/deadlines may often require more than 40 hours per week to complete essential duties of this job.


Experience, Education and/or Training:

  • Health care background (veterinary or human healthcare, pharmaceutical, etc.) is required.
  • Strong passion for learning development and enhancing the learner experience is required.
  • Advanced degree or certifications are preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Curriculum and Instruction, Instructional Technology Design is preferred, or a combination of education, training and experience to provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • 5 years of experience creating content within an LMS or DAP are required, as well as an outstanding eye for creative design (layout, flow, and all sensory aspects).
  • 5 years’ of experience in media design, educational technology, or user experience design is required.
  • Demonstrated success developing training using adult learning principles and design theories are required.


Salary: $75,000 – $112,000
