Superintendent of Tile and Stone

Job Summary:

The Superintendent will oversee field operations including all phases of the project and employees.

Duties and Responsibilities:

·Work with the GM and HR on implanting and enforcing safety policies.

·Member of the Safety Council and actively participates in monthly safety meetings.

·Enforce company quality policies in the work performed and performance.

·Review all project documents supplied by the Project Manager to fully understand scope of work to be completed and coordinated.

·Work with field Supervisors to strategize workflow on current and upcoming projects and report to GM.

·Work with company field employees to develop skill sets and moral.

·Develop top performing field employees into foremen.

·Select proper Foreman to be placed in charge of day-to-day operations of specific projects.

·Communicate with Supervisor and Foremen on daily basis.

·Work with Logistics Coordinator to schedule the proper equipment and materials needed to project schedules.

·Perform quality control and production review walks on all active jobs weekly and report findings to the GM.

·Work with Supervisor and Foremen to complete all punch list and potential warranty items prior to completing job and final billings.

·Work with Project Manager to establish monthly progress billings.

·Performs other related duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

• May require travel.
• Must be able to traverse and inspect all areas of jobsite in all types of weather; this may include walking, climbing, reaching, bending, crawling, or stretching.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
• Exposure to characteristic construction site dangers.
