Location: Washington D.C

About the Company

A fantastic General Contractor with a great reputation in the Mid-Atlantic region for over 60 years with a large portfolio of successful projects in a number of different sectors. This includes Multi-Family, Healthcare, Retail, Office/Commercial and Mixed-Use

Services offered include Pre-Construction, General Contracting and Construction Management.

With several projects now in progress they are looking to hire an experienced Construction Project Manager to join their growing team

Responsibilities

• Oversee procurement
• Generate and manage project schedules
• Work closely with Project accountant to provide timely and accurate information
• Manage worker schedules
• Manage profit and loss control, quality control, health and safety and site standards
• Negotiate material and subcontractor packages, achieving cost savings
• Work closely with Superintendents, subcontractors to discuss/resolve project matters
• Report to relevant project stakeholders on project progress
• Prepare and submit change orders for approval
• Obtain permitting

Experience Required

• At least 6-8 years of project management experience
• Excellent report writing, written and oral communication skills
• Experience working on high value construction projects
• Degree in relevant discipline (Engineering, Construction Management etc.) is desired but not essential
• Experience working for a reputed General Contractor/ Developer-Builder or Construction Management firm is desired

Salary Range: $130,000 - $150,000 per annum
