Construction Estimator Jobs

We are looking for a very reliable and knowledgeable Construction Estimator to estimate and win construction projects. Along with estimating, some time will also be spent assisting with project set-up and buy-out to ensure the success of the project and help with the overall building of the business.
Primary Responsibilities & Requirements
Timely delivery of clear, concise bids tailored to the project and needs of our client;
Collection and analysis of data needed to estimate the time, materials, labor and cost required to construct a project;
Solicitation of subcontractors/vendors/suppliers;
Timely distribution of project change bulletins, revisions and addendums when applicable
Preparation & review of bid scope sheets, review subcontractor proposals for accuracy, and provide accurate quantity estimates for work self-performed.
Assist with project set-up and buy-out of subcontracted work, materials, etc.
Prepare, assemble and furnish proposals often times not fully detailed or drawn showing full requirements
Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs/impacts to project
Estimate construction work (both in commercial and residential)
Be fully transparent, with emphasis on integrity and business acumen
Customer service oriented and personable
Attention to detail. Everything from the estimates, units costs, bid scope sheets and proposals must be accurate
Refined organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks for self, team, and projects
Outstanding communication skills (listening, presenting, interpersonal and written)
7+ years related experience and/or training with a General Contractor
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, experience with (or ability to learn) Planswift Take-off software, and Building Connected
Proven working experience and success in construction estimating
Advanced knowledge of construction estimating processes, construction means and methods
Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards
Understanding of all facets of the construction process
Ability to plan and see the “big picture”
