Senior Construction Estimator Jobs

• Travel to job sites in support of large loss and area wide disaster events for extended periods
• Implement and manage procedures and policies to ensure the accurate and profitable delivery of estimates and competitive bids
• Accurately document estimate preparation and communicate with Project Coordinators and Managers
• Participate in project meetings and reviews to ensure project profitability and identify change order and supplementary estimate needs
• Leverage technology to promote scalability
• Issue timely and efficient RFQs to ensure accuracy of estimates and to assist project managers with buyout and start up
• Adhere to company policies and guidelines for safety
• Lead discussions with clients, adjusters, design professionals, contractors, and suppliers to clearly define scope of work

• Able to plan in advance, and then think on your feet
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Good driving record and able to pass a background check as needed.
• Able to engage in respectful conflict resolution and settlement
• Detail-oriented, integrity driven
• Demonstrated ability to deliver estimates in excess of $20 million
• Proficient in Xactimate (REQUIRED), RS Means, Symbility, and other industry estimating tools
• Understanding of building codes and construction means and methods.
• 10+ Years of industry experience in increasing leadership rolls
• Able to read, understand and interpret blueprints and other construction documents
