Job Description
Architect Construction Administrator


Qualifications / Skills:


  • Know and understand the implications of the Owner-Contractor agreements as well as having a firm knowledge and understanding of the master specifications.
  • Strong technical knowledge of construction materials, building trades, and working relationships among sub-contractors, suppliers and manufacturers.
  • Participate in Owner/Architect/Contractor (OAC) progress meetings.
  • Know the responsibilities for the construction phase as required by the Architect/Owner agreement.
  • Have a solid working knowledge of BIM, Revit and other software employed in documentation.
  • Effectively represent the interests of the Owner, Architect and support Consultants during the construction phase.


Requirements:


  • Professional degree in Architecture or related field
  • Collaborative and professional work ethic
  • Problem solving skills, attention to detail
  • 8+ years of experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Advanced knowledge of building codes, specifications, building and engineering systems
  • Advanced knowledge of construction contract administration policies, procedures and concepts
  • BIM and Revit experience required


Preferred:


  • Fluent in written and conversational Spanish
  • Architecture license

  • Successful applicants must be able to demonstrate authorization to work in the United States upon hire.
  • No relocation is offered for this position.
