Leidos Energy Infrastructure and Automation Operation (EIA) Sales Services Team (SST) is seeking an Event and Conference Coordinator to support the operation’s business development and sales teams with events and conferences.

The Event and Conference Coordinator role will be part-time with the opportunity to go full-time and will work in our Walled Lake, MI office.

In this role, the candidate will be responsible for administrative and logistical duties related to meeting and event planning for business-related functions. Those duties may include coordinating and arranging events, developing proposals for venues and vendors for events, and managing the guest experience.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Coordinate client events for current and prospective clients.
  • Assist in preparing reporting documents i.e. track and report event cost and schedule.
  • Coordinate event photos and video to be used as social media content.
  • Track and pay invoices for industry memberships.
  • Source memorable client gifts and giveaways for business development/sales teams.
  • Provide logo and branded materials to event organizer for advertising.
  • Support Conference Manager with miscellaneous tasks.
  • Perform shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
  • Maintain and keep current tactical action plans and event tracker.

Required Education, Skills, and Experience:

  • Experience with MS Office Suite
  • Experience interacting with leaders Ability to work with little to no oversight to identify problems and determine appropriate solutions
  • Ability to multi-task and adjust to rapidly changing priorities
  • Bachelor’s Degree in hospitality, social science, or related field with a minimum of two (2)+ years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous event planning experience a plus.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $48,750.00 - $75,000.00 - $101,250.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
