Location: Toledo, Ohio, United States

Academic Requirements:

•BS or BA – ideally in education and the field of study that correlates to the teaching position

Spiritual Requirements:

•Must be a born-again believer whose convictions shape his/her personal and professional life

•Must have a vibrant relationship with God that he/she can express willingly and energetically

•Demonstrate spiritual maturity with academic and leadership abilities

•Be concerned about ministry to students, helping to build them in the faith and to nurture them in love

•Embrace and model the fundamental values of the school’s mission

Teaching Requirements:

•Teach regularly scheduled classes as assigned on the master schedule

•Employ those instructional aids, methods, and materials that will provide for creative and effective teaching

•Use effective classroom management strategies to foster a solid learning environment

•Prepare weekly lesson plans that follow the school’s curriculum maps

•Maintain adequate records of attendance and grades

•Attend and participate in scheduled faculty meetings, retreats, and Parent-Teacher meetings.

•Use of technology including but not limited to eLearning platform, Zoom® and other virtual programs.

•Participate in annual professional development

Communication Requirements:

•Regular and adequate communication with the home via the telephone, written notes,

personal conferences, and e-mail

•Attend and/or participate in school activities

•Speak favorably of and publicly support the school, faculty, and school leadership

Other Responsibilities:

•Perform supervisory duties such as hall duty, lunch, recess, before/after school supervision

•Attend and monitor chapel

•Participate on committees as assigned

•Uphold all school policies and procedures.

Work Hours:

•Teachers are expected to be on campus from 7:30 am – 3:45 pm
