Position Summary:

This position will serve as a member of the Medical Education Information Services (MEIS) Client Services Team, primarily supporting on-site events held in the Heersink School of Medicine's new Active Learning Center newly renovated and expanded Lister Hill Library computer lab. Key responsibilities include providing timely A/V and computer assistance for the faculty, staff, and students in these spaces to ensure the success of classes and exams. Additionally, this position will help the help desk troubleshoot, resolve fundamental issues, and create tickets as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform other duties as assigned
• Installs department computer hardware and software programs. Performs preventive maintenance tasks, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems and peripheral equipment.
• Assists in some networking functions; supports local area networks' day-to-day operations.
• Provides data entry support and database management for the department.
• Works with other departments to solve network and application issues affecting user
• This position will commit to fostering an environment of heightened security following Information Technology Security Policies and participating in security training, such as Health Insurance Portability Accountability Act (HIPAA) and Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), on an annual basis.

Salary Range: $15.50 - $25.20

Associate's degree in Computer Science or a related field required. OR an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with the following is preferred: Crestron, Extron, Q-SYS, and similar A/V systems Windows Operating System ServiceNow
