Department Overview

Position Summary

The Quality Verification Substation Expert (Compliance Data Analyst) audits substation maintenance both in the field and records, pre-audits for outside agencies (CPUC, CAISO, WECC, and NERC) maintain database(s) of audit findings and corrective actions, and develop reports of findings, work methods, commitments, corrective actions, and other related utility information. This position also analyzes performance, identifies trends, monitors compliance with audits and identifies issues. The position may design and implement systems to collect, organize, transfer, and report data from various internal and external sources, including enterprise sources of Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, Document Management, Safety, Corrective Action.

This position is hybrid, working from your remote home office, and your assigned location based on business need. Headquarter location is flexible.

PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, collective bargaining agreements, and internal equity.

A reasonable salary range is:

Bay Area Minimum: $122,000.00

Bay Area Maximum: $194,000.00

This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E’s discretionary incentive compensation programs.

Job Responsibilities

• May include weekly communication with the audit client.
• May lead all audit functions. Including facilitating both entrance and exit meeting.
• May manage projects or initiatives.
• May monitor and manage work activities of less experienced auditors.
• Provides new and innovative solutions and recommendations to enhance audits with new and improved audit processes.
• Designs data analysis to achieve business objectives, process data, analyze data, write clear and concise data findings and tailor communications to specific audiences.
• Manages complex data analysis projects with limited supervision on only the most complex projects.
• Acts as team lead and provides direction to less experienced employees.

Qualifications

• Desired:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or job-related discipline or equivalent experience
• Travel availability 50% of the time
• Qualified Electrical Worker (QEW)
• High School or GED-General Educational Development-GED Diploma
• 7 years of experience as an substation electrician (maintenance preferred)
