The Communications and PR account executive will be responsible for developing
engaging and high quality copy in English, with the support of the Media Manager, for
various platforms, such as websites, blogs, social media, marketing collateral, and
other digital and print materials. The ideal candidate should have a passion for writing,
excellent communication skills, and an understanding of content creation strategies to
drive audience engagement and meet business objectives. The candidate will be both
a self-starter and an excellent team player. This is a full-time position and requires
daily presence at the office.
Responsibilities

● Collaborate within PR and Media Relations team to develop communication
material aligned with business goals, target audience, and brand guidelines.
● Draft news stories for the web and traditional media, showcasing the Start-Up’s
unique features.
● Write original copy in English and edit content for a range of marketing
materials, including but not limited to mobile app, websites, landing pages,
social media posts, emails, brochures, advertisement, and other promotional
materials.
● Review and edit content written by other team members to ensure accuracy,
consistency, and adherence to brand voice, grammar, and style guidelines.
● Monitor media coverage and report results to wider team.
● Support Media Manager with crisis management material preparation and
execution if needed.
● Support Media Manager with interview requests and identification of new
media platforms in the tech and mainstream sectors that may be of interest for
the Start-Up.
● Support with brainstorming new PR and communication ideas to enhance
positive media presence.
● Stay updated with industry trends, news, and best practices to develop
relevant and up-to-date content that resonates with the target audience.
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as marketing, design, and
subject matter experts, and ensure content accuracy and relevance
● Identify potentially fruitful PR opportunities for the US market and attend when
needed.
Qualifications
● Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or
related field.
● You thrive in a challenging environment and are inspired by the tech sector
and its future prospects.
● 3+ years of experience as a communications professional, preferably in a
similar role or Start-Up.
● Excellent English written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for
grammar, punctuation, and style.
● Crisis management experience in terms of understanding the adequate
responses to give media and support the Media Manager accordingly.
● Strong research skills to gather information from various sources and develop
compelling and accurate content aligned with the company’s key messages.
● Ability to support in the organization and identification of PR venues of interest.
● Ability to write in different tones and styles, adapting content to target different
audiences and platforms including on-line media, social media and websites.
● Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects
simultaneously.
● Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
● Portfolio of writing samples demonstrating a diverse range of content styles
and formats.
● At least one work reference.
