About the Role:

Client: Confidential Fund Manager - NYC

Project: Full-Time Permanent Position

Exp: Minimum 5 years production level experience in commodities markets.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor supply and demand dynamics, geopolitical events, and macroeconomic factors that impact commodities prices.
• Generate insightful reports, presentations, and recommendations to guide investment decisions.
• Collaborate with portfolio managers and traders to identify and execute profitable trading strategies.
• Stay updated on industry news, emerging trends, and regulatory changes affecting the commodities markets.
• Utilize sophisticated models and statistical tools to develop forecasts and projections for commodities pricing and trends.
• Conduct comprehensive research and analysis on global commodities markets, including energy, metals, agriculture, and more.
• Continuously refine and improve existing analytical frameworks and methodologies.

Qualifications:

• Solid understanding of macroeconomics, supply and demand dynamics, and risk management principles.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and draw meaningful conclusions.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of commodities markets, including futures, options, and derivatives.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools, such as Python, R, or MATLAB, for statistical modeling and data visualization.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex concepts to diverse stakeholders.
